Hi — we’re Monteros Landscaping, a family-owned crew based in Yuba City. We do lawn care, irrigation, hardscape, gardens, and full landscape installs across Sutter and Yuba counties (and a chunk of Butte and Placer when the project is right).
This blog is where we’ll put practical, local stuff — not generic landscaping content scraped from the same five articles. Think:
- Seasonal to-do lists tuned to our actual climate (the Sacramento Valley summer is not the same as a coastal yard, and the advice should not be the same either).
- Plant suggestions that hold up here without burning your water bill.
- Project write-ups with photos, what we did, and what we’d do differently.
- The occasional honest take on a product or technique.
